Death

CONCORD - Mrs. Johnnie Lee Wade Flowe, 80, of 190 Krimminger Ave., died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at NorthEast Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Concord, with the Rev. Bobby Utley and the Rev. Ron Bushey officiating. Burial will be at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens, Concord. Mrs. Flowe was born May 8, 1927, in Cabarrus County the daughter of the late James Robert Wade Sr. and Bertha Smith Wade. Mrs. Flowe was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James R. Wade Jr. (Bob); and a sister, Doris Haynes. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Flowe of Concord; daughters, Gail (Flowe) Purdy and husband, Steve, of Kannapolis and Shirley (Flowe) Furr and husband, Mitchell, of Concord; sister, Ruth Mills of Norway, S.C.; grandchildren, Eric Brady, Keith Furr and wife, Tara, and Rusty Furr and wife, Jeanne; and three great-grandchildren. The family will meet a the home of a daughter, Shirley Furr, 160 Krimminger Avenue, Concord. Arrangements by Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord.
