CLEVELAND Shirlon "Other" Smith Lynn, 66, of Cleveland, N.C., passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, in Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House, Winston- Salem. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Sunday, May 26), at the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Jerry Clonninger officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park. The family received friends Saturday evening, May 25, at Stanly Funeral Home, from 6 to 8 p.m. Born May 3, 1947, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mildred Chandler Smith and her biological mother, Helen Bolmon. Ms. Lynn was a graduate of North Stanly High School and Tri County Technical College in Pickens, S.C. She was a textile employee and a member of The Rock Worship Center in Monroe. She is survived by a son, Marshall "Bo" Lynn, of Perry, Fla.; three daughters, Eyvette F. Isaac, of Cleveland, Chrystal Furr, of Indian Land, S.C. and Tara Lynn-Nelson, of Perry, Fla., and a chosen daughter, Marsha Watson-Moore, of Lincolnton; a brother, Jimmy Austin, of Sanford; 12 grandchildren, Stephanie Stancil, Lena, Trey and Gabrielle Isaac, Chad Whitfield, Bradly Jarrell, Scot Nelson, Ahna Marie Lynn, Kacie Buckner and Cassie, Aaron and Alyssa Moore; three great-grand-children, Jessica Arabella Paniagua and Adalyn and Haven Buckner. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Eyvette Stancil. Memorials may be given to Rowan Hospice & Palliative, 720 Grove St., Salisbury, NC 28144, the American Lung Association , P.O.
