Helen A. Furr, 68, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in a local hospital. She was born in Du Valls Bluff, Arkansas to Garland and Marie (Krimes) Washam. She was a resident of this area for 50 years and was a certified nurse’s assistant in the home health care industry. Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 18, 2013 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with private burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas. She is survived by her husband Gene Furr of the home, two daughters, Louisa Elliott of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Teresa Best of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister, Doris Coleman of Quitman, Louisiana, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.Endnotes
