Death
Annie Dene Edgar, 86, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at the Madison County Medical Center. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2005 at Breeland Funeral Home Chapel. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with burial in the Canton Cemetery. A native of Hinds County, Mrs. Edgar had lived in Canton for 50 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Edgar was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Edgar and her son Charles D. Edgar. Survivors include: sons, Bruce Edgar of Canton, and Dale Edgar of Carthage; daughter, Jennie Hillman of Brandon; sister, Willie D. Hewitt of Tuscaloosa, AL; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, July 21, 2005
