Death
Bruce Edgar, 55, died Thursday, February 10, 2011, at the Madison County Medical Center in Canton. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Breeland Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Canton Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday and after 9:30 AM Saturday. A native of Canton, Mr. Edgar was a graduate of Canton Academy and Mississippi State University. He was the owner of Edgar Timber Services. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles J. Edgar and Annie Dene Edgar, and brother, Charles D. Edgar. Survivors: wife, Susan Furr Edgar of Canton; sons, Ethan Edgar of Canton and Justin Russell (Adrienne) of Brandon; brother, Dale Edgar (Mary Ann) of Carthage; and sister, Jennie Hillman (Harry) of Brandon.Published in Clarion Ledger on February 11, 2011
