Death
Mrs. Nety Telithe Morgan, 85, died Monday at 3:45 p.m. at her home 1230 Walnut Street, following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Oak Grove Baptist Church of which she was a member. Rev. J. C. Bennett, pastor, conducted the rites and interment followed in the Norwood Cemetery. Daughter of the late Dace and Pattie Karkey Furr of Stanly County, Mrs. Morgan was married to H. Clark Morgan who preceded her in death. Surviving are our (sic) sons, Carl and Elmer of Albemarle, Keiter of Ansonville, and Hugh of Norwood; one daughter, Mrs. Gertie Jolly of Albermarle; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, July 6, 1962
