Death
HIGH POINT — Thurman Mitchell (Mike) Furr, 14, of 3002 English Road died at 7:15 p.m. yesterday in High Point Memorial Hospital. He had been in declining health for several years and suffered from a kidney ailment. He was born in Guilford County to Thurman M, and Leidith Ireland Furr. He attended Oak Hill Elementary and Ferndale Junior High schools. Surviving are his parents; three brothers, Larry Furr of Trinity, Jerry Lee and Omer Furr of High Point; a sister, Mrs. Ernest Fausnett of the Allen Jay community; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Ireland of Graham and Mrs. Lillie Furr of Washington, D. C. The body is at Cumby Mortuary pending arrangements.Winston-Salem Journal, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, October 5, 1966
