Death
John N. Terry (sic), well known man of the Gibson mill neighborhood, died at his home Tuesday afternoon. Death was caused by heart trouble. Mr. Terry[Perry] was ill one week. The deceased was born in Union county and was 71 years of age. He moved to Concord twenty years ago. Surviving are his wife, one daughter and three sons. The daughter is Mrs. A. P. Furr, of this city, and the sons are W. E., J. Frank and J. E. Terry (sic), all of Kannapolis. Funeral services will be held at the church, and conducted by the pastor Rev. G. W. Rollins. Interment will be made in Oakwood cemetery.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, June 15, 1922
