Death
Died 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 1989, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 78, a native of Wisner and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 3 to 5:30 p.m. Friday. Visiting at First Baptist Church, Wisner, 1 p.m. Saturday until religious services at 2 p.m. Interment in Chase Cemetery, Chase. Survived by three sons, Gerald P. Furr, William J. Furr and James E. Furr; seven grandchildren; a grandniece, and a grandnephew. Preceded in death by husband, Joe Nixon Furr; and a niece, Lois Head, whom she reared.
