Death
SARAH J. FURR, 81, of Memphis, retired systems analyst for the federal government, died of heart disease Wednesday in Somerville, Tenn. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Whitehaven Baptist Church. Mrs. Furr, the widow of Walter F. Furr, leaves a son, Walter F. Furr Jr. of Stanton, Tenn.; a sister, Edith Bailey of Sardis, Miss.; a brother, Millard Jackson of Como, Miss., and two granddaughters.
