HIGH POINT, Sept. 18. — Fannie Ingram Furr, wife of J. Carl Furr, of 305 Pine street, died at a local hospital this morning. She was born in Georgia September 18, 1904. She was employed by the Adams-Millis corporation. Surviving are the husband; one stepson, Crowson Furr, U. S. navy; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Margaret Varner, Reidsville; four brothers, Odis and Miller Ingram, Canton, Ohio, John and William Ingram, High Point; three sisters, Mrs. Virgil Hall, of Murphy, Mrs. Clyde Swanson, Lawrenceville, Ga., and Miss Allie Ingram, this city. Funeral arrangements were incomplete today.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, September 19, 1942
