Death
A memorial service for Constance Vivian Lee Widman, 85, of Richmond, Va., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2315 Parham Road, Richmond, with private burial. She died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, from lung cancer. She attended St. Olaf College and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Child Development. She was the owner and director of Stepping Stone Nursery School. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Warren R. Widman; three children, Barbara Smith and husband, Randolph, Richmond, Va., Mary Furr and husband, Clyde, Knoxville, Tenn. and Anne Harris and husband, Charles III, Glen Allen; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ole and Clara Lee of Bagley, Minn. Visitation at the church is one hour prior to service. Arrangements by Woody Funeral Home of Richmond, Va. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Bon Secours Hospice, 5801 Breno Road, Richmond, Va., Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund or the charity of choice.Constance Vivian Lee Widman, 85, of Richmond, died November 21, 2006 from lung cancer.
