Death
Funeral services for Everette Archie Beamer, 33, of 2308 Bancroft St., who died yesterday in a local hospital, will be held at 11 am Monday in McEwen West Chapel. The Rev. Thomas R. Hamilton, pastor of the United Church of Christ, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. John P. Stevenson of Fayetteville and the Rev. William Harris Blair of Statesville. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Born Nov. 25, 1926 in Charlotte, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Beamer. He was a member of the United Church of Christ. For the past 10 years, he was employed by Miller Motor Express. During World War II, he served in the U. S. Navy. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Linda Gayle, Brenda Lane and Kimberly Elaine Beamer, all of the home: a son, Everette Archie Beamer Jr., of the home; his parents of Charlotte; four sisters, Mrs. William H. Booe of Charlotte, Mrs. Ray Stubbs of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Betty Jean Lohman of Italy, Mrs. Patricia Puckett of Charlotte: three brothers, William Charles Burns of Fayetteville, Mack Burns of Raleigh and Salem Beamer of Charlotte. Active pallbearers will be H. H. Hall, Wayne Mills, Marshall J. Henry, Harry Williams, Bill Inman, and Kermit Howard.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, July 02, 1960
