CHERAW — Graveside services for Leo James Kelly, 85, of 5 Malloy St., will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Dee. 1, 1997, at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Edward L. Davidson and the Rev. Morris Thompson officiating. Visitation is 6-8 tonight at Norton Funeral Home, Cheraw. Memorials may be made to Cheraw Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 28, Cheraw 29520. Mr. Kelly died Saturday, Nov. 29, 1997, at Chesterfield General Hospital. Born in Chesterfield County, he was a son of the late Andrew Newell and Ada Davis Kelly. He was an Army veteran World War II, Patton's 3rd Army, and a retired truck driver with Cheraw Yarn Mills with 37 years of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Men’s Bible Class and VFW. Surviving are his wife, Willie Mae Furr Kelly of Cheraw; sons, Ed Kelly of Keller, Texas, Ray Kelly of Chapin; sister, Mary Dell Edgeworth of Cheraw; grandchildren, Ashli Kelly of Lexington, Mary Jane Corley of North Myrtle Beach and Jamie Kelly of Gilbert.The State, Columbia, South Carolina, November 30, 1997
