Death
John T. Furr married Bonnie Blue Parrish on 5 June 1921 at Quanah, Texas. The couple lived in Breckenridge until 1931 when they moved to Graham. They returned in 1942 and opened and operated J.T. Furr Poultry and Egg Company for 14 years. They managed the Colonial Hotel until 1967 and were managed of Rogers Courts at the time of her death. Mrs. John T. Furr, 72, resident of Breckenridge for 37 years. Survived by her husband; one daughter - Mrs. Ivy Bible; two sons - Byron R. Asherbranner and Bobby Joe Furr; two sisters - Mrs. Blannie Mahavien and Mrs. Gertrude Bacon; one brother - D.A. Parrish; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.Endnotes
