Death
Mr. William Anthony Vita, 91, of Southwood Avenue died April 9, 1995, at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Cavin Funeral Home in Mooresville is in charge. Mr. Vita, a Mecklenburg County native, was a printer for The Charlotte Observer for 45 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and Patriotic Sons of America. Survivors are his wife, Nell; son, William Vita Jr. of Huntersville; sister, Mrs. Margaret Christenbury; two grandchildren.
