Death

Marianne W. Boone, 77, of Ocala, FL, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at home under the loving care of her family. Marianne was born in Trenton, NJ on June 2, 1935, daughter of the late Joseph M. and Praxeta M. Wright. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the College of New Jersey in 1957 and later went on to receive a Masters In Education from Framingham State College, MA. She taught elementary education for 22 years in various locations, retiring in 1985. She came to Ocala, FL in 2005 from Framingham, MA. She was of the Catholic faith. Marianne was active with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Angela Santos Post #4781 and past officer and a member of the Lady Birds of OTOW, As an avid traveler she along with her husband Bill had over 600 cruise days at sea. She was also preceded in death by her son William "Thad" F. Boone III. Marianne is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, William F. "Bill" Boone, Jr of Ocala, daughter Phoebe Boone Demers and her husband Roger of Ocala, granddaughter Lindsey M. Schneider and her husband Eli of Sharon, MA, brother Jeffry C. Wright and his wife Leslie and their daughters Molly and Anna, all of Lancaster, PA. The Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 30th from 3:00PM to 5:00PM in the TimberRidge Chapel of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala. The funeral mass will be held at 8:30AM on Monday, Oct. 1st at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Hwy 200, Ocala.
