July 20, 1940 – Nov. 6, 2007 SHELBY — Mrs. Dolly F. Jones, 67, 209 Westlee St., Shelby, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Chester, S.C., she was a homemaker who greatly enjoyed her family and grandchildren. A member of Lattimore Baptist Church, she was also a sitter and caregiver for the sick and elderly. Her parents, Robert Lee Furr and Lillie Mae Wilson Furr, two sisters, Mary Ruth Owens and Barbara Furr McIntyre, and a great-grandson, Robbie Bernat, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Jack B. Jones of the home; two sons, Todd M. Jones and Marty B. Jones of Lattimore; two daughters and their husbands, Robin J. Cogdell and Bobby of Lattimore, and Jackie J. Ballenger and John of Shelby; a brother, Ernest Bryant of Greenville, S.C.; grandchildren, Brandy Bernat, Michael Cogdell, Jamie Ballenger, Alex Ballenger, Dustin Jones, Cody Jones, Carlie Jones, Jenny Jones and Morgan Jones; stepgrandchildren, Deanona McSwain and Andrea Cogdell; great-grandchildren, Cassie and Will; and stepgreat-grandchildren, McKayla and Wyatt. Visitation: Held Thursday. The family will be at the home.
