Death

CHERRYVILLE - Mrs. Lillie Mae Furr 93, of 605 N. Styers St. died June 7, 1992, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Funeral is 4 p.m. Tuesday at Carpenter's Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Cagle officiating. Burial is in City Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight. Mrs. Furr, a retired textile employee, was born in Whitmire, S.C., daughter of the late William and Mary Starnes Wilson. She was the widow of Robert Furr. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mrs. Barbara McEntyre. She attended First Wesleyan Church. Survivors are her son, Ernest Bryant of Greenville, S.C.; daughters, Mrs. Dolly Jones of Lattimore, Mary Owens; brother, Verna Wilson of Anderson, S.C.; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
