FURR, Jack Orman, 82, a resident of 48 Fleetwood Drive, Montgomery, AL, died Saturday, December 4, 1993, at a local hospital, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 6, 1993, at 11:00 a.m. from Turner’s Funeral Home of Luverne, AL with Elder Ford Beasley officiating. Interment will be at Sardis Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Verna Ruth Owens, Gadsden, AL and Rachel McKenzie, Montgomery, AL; two sons, Samuel Dutson Furr, Pensacola, FL and Byron W. Furr, Montgomery, AL; four brothers, Owen Furr, Luverne, AL, Wilson Furr, Lake Wells, FL, Eaf Furr, Black, AL and Athens Furr, Key Stone, FL; three sisters, Eture Pugh, Montgomery, AL, Essie Warren, Arizona and Tess Furr, Colorado; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.The Montgomery Advertiser, Montgomery, Alabama, December 6, 1993
