Death
Grover, the little 9-months’ old son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Furr, died last Thursday. The body was buried at Canton church cemetery Friday. Rev. C. J. Black conducting thhe (sic) services. The burial was somewhat singular in that besides the father and mother, and the surviving children, there were three other generations present, viz: Philmore Whitley, grandfather; Alfred Morton, great-grandfather; ‘‘Aunt Sally’’ Huneycutt, great-great grand-mother.Independent Tribune, Concord, North Carolina, November 21, 1913
