Death
LIVE OAK — A graveside service for Valleta ‘‘Veet’’ Case, 80, of Live Oak, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, in Live Oak Cemetery. She died Friday, April 19, 1996, at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 13, 1916, in Arkansas, to Adam and Hattie Lowder Furr. She was a homemaker for 58 years, and a Sutter County resident for 28 years. She is survived by a son, Roy Eugene Mehs of Anaheim; a brother, Paul Furr of Tracy; a sister, Ruth Webb of Muskogee, Okla.; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Arrangements were made by Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.Enterprise-Record, Chico, California, April 20, 1996
