Death

A Porterville woman, Georganna Furr, 25, died Wednesday in Exeter. Her home was at 342 Argyle street. Mrs. Furr was born Feb. 12, 1945 in Delano and was a graduate of the high school there. Survivors include her husband, Ronald, and two daughters, Julie Lynn and Shelly Dawn of Porterville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Risenhoover of Earlimart; a brother, David of Earlimart; three sisters, Donna, also of Earlimart and Joyce and Janet, both of Porterville and her grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Turner, living in Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 20, in the Chapel of the Congregations at the Delano mortuary. Burial will be in the Delano-McFarland District cemetery.
