Death

LONSDALE -- Bettie Jo Furr, 84, of Lonsdale, passed on Friday, April 5, 2019, at home, with loved ones by her bedside. She was born at Hollis, Ark., to the late Elmer Morris and Reecy Smith Ward Morris. Bettie was married to the late B.H. Furr on April 21, 1951. He was the love of her life. They spent 46 happy years together before his passing in 1997. Now they have reunited in Heaven after 22 years apart. Bettie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, B.H.; her sons, Harold Joe and Gene Allen Furr; her only brother, Bill Morris; her sisters, Gleneva Hazen, Lounetta Christian-Main, Eulva Hill-Rhodes, Wilma Collum-Finley and Irene Webb. Bettie is survived by her daughter, Sadie Darlene Furr Morris Tittle; her sons, Kenny Furr (Regina) and Ricky Furr (Tina); her sister, Mary Lou North; her daughter-in-law, Billie Furr (wife of the late Harold Joe Furr); her brother-in-law, Shannon Furr; her grandchildren, James Tittle, Greg Furr, Bobby Furr-Manus, Kerry Furr, Don Furr, Dustin Cline, Bobby Furr, Justin Cline, Cassandra Furr Marinez, April Furr, Dusty Furr, Sheila Furr Solano, Cindy Furr Griffin, Melissa Furr, Tracie Tittle Rhodes Brooks, Diane Cline, Becky Cline and Brandy Furr; her 25 great-grandchildren; and her 21 great-great-grandchildren. Bettie was a wonderful woman and will be laid to rest at a private family service.
