Death

ATKINS — Willo Dean Caldwell FURR, 77, of Atkins, passed on to Jesus Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Conway Regional Medical Center. Born April 13, 1930, in Leachville, Ark., she was the daughter of the late John and Effie Melton Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee FURR; two brothers, Horace Caldwell and Herman Caldwell; and one sister, Lila Mae Hatch. She loved live music, singing, fishing, camping, reading, the ocean, wildlife, sewing, crocheting and her friends and family. She is survived by four sons, John William FURR of Pennsylvania, Dannis Lee FURR of California, Vernon Ray FURR of Arkansas and Douglas Wayne FURR of Oregon; three daughters, Patsy Marie Buchanan of Hattieville, and Val Gene Daniels and Gloria Elaine Shafer, both of Atkins; 10 grandsons, six granddaughters; several great-grandchildren, a few great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leola Linker of Mountain View and Leavern Hope of Fort Smith; and a host of friends. Graveside service and burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20,2007, at Goats Bluff Cemetery at Hollis with the Rev. Ed Wilbourn officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at Lemley Funeral Service Pallbearers will be Royce Magers, David Dosier, Brain Dosier, Tim FURR, Dennis Shafer and Orvil Buchanan.
