I, Christifor Osborn farmer freeholder in Macklinberg County and State of noarth Caralina being sick and weaklie in body for some time and Calling to mind my mortaly being in a sound way both of mind and Judgement and as it hath pleased a wise God to blefs me with a numerous fammaly do Chouse to make this my Last will and Testment. And first I recommend my soul to almighty God who give it beging he would be greacously pleased to accept the sem for what Jesus hath done and suffered for a loft and ruined world, with regard to what of the world’s goods it hath pleased God to blefs me, I chouse to dipos of in the following manner. And first I allow all my just and lawful debts to be dischearged. Than I bequeath unto my well beloved Wife Sarah Osborn the plantation I now live on with all the working instruments or tackling in the sam, all the creatures, cows, horsefs, hogs and houses fernishing or furnuitar during widdo hood only. It is to be observed that what Ever creatures are hearafter named are excepted

Than I bequeath unto my well beloved son janithoan osborn that plantation fraderick Carlock now lives on and one negroman named nead and a hors named dick take notis the above described plantation hath two deeds Than I bequeath to my well beloved son Christofor osborn all and every of the peafsefs or parcellfs of land to me deedded and granted. Than as I believe my well-beloved wife is pragnant with Child my will is as followeth Should it please an alm[torn] that that Child [torn]arave to the Eage of twentyone that after said Child is scoold to reed and write that at the Eag of twentyone he shall have one hundred pound payed by my son Christifor osborn or to have the vallue thereof in land as he that is the above described child shall chuse, but should the child bea femal and arrive at the age of Eighteen years then I bequeath unto hir the sum of twenty pounds in monie or vallue. The negro bob I bequeath to my son Christifor osborn. Than I anointe and nomnate my well beloved wife Serah osborn and [torn] mifson to be the only Exactorus of this my last will and testament and my wife to have the whole disposal of all and singeler negores and premisefs, as above named for the good of the fammaly and that during widdohood and do revoak all other wills testmens whatever acknowlidgeing this as my last will and testment sined with my and silled with my seal this thirtinth day of December in the year one thousand seven hundred and eighty eight

NB January the 22 1789. Should the Lord be pleased in the course of his wise and almity provenance to remove any of my meal children before thy arrive at the Eage of twentyone I then ower and allow and bequeath that ones part to the surviving meal hear and should the Child that my dear and loving wife is pragnet with at this date be a meal I allow that whoever of the three be removed that an equal share be made of that one part to the suraiveing meal or meals.
