Death

LANCASTER -- Mrs. Marion Louise Ellis Honeycutt, 75, of 412 West Barr St. died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Springs Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Lancaster Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Brad Threatt officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park. A native of Lancaster, Mrs. Honeycutt was a daughter of the late William Baxter Ellis and Bleaker Aline Furr. She was a retired beautician and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was the widow of Eugene Honeycutt. Surviving are her son, Tracy Honeycutt of Lancaster; her daughter, Bonnie H. Wheeler of Lancaster; two sisters, Peggy Threatt of Lancaster and Catherine Reed of Rock Hill; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David Honeycutt. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and other times at home.
