GRANITE QUARRY — Janelle Lee Swart of Harrisburg and Raymond Luther Furr of Concord were married Wednesday at Shiloh United Methodist Church. The bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Swart of Route 1, Seagrove, will receive at Flag Springs United Methodist Church on Dec. 7. The bridegroom, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Furr, served in the Marine Corps and is employed by Pinnix Contractors, Concord. The bride graduated from Randolph Technical College and attends the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is employed by Concord Nursing Center. Delores Nance Swart of Denton and Furr’s brother, William H. Furr Jr. of Concord, attended the couple. Brian Lee Swart was ring bearer. Death
CONCORD Mr. Raymond L. Furr, 61, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Wilkinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Concord & Kannapolis Independent Tribune, Concord, North Carolina, March 18, 2024
