Death

CAROLINA BEACH - Mr. James Patrick French passed away Nov. 11, 2009 at New Hanover Regional Hospital. He is formerly of Concord, but has been a resident of Carolina Beach for many years. The service will be 2 p.m. Sunday Nov. 15, 2009 at the Wilkinson Funeral Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Marvin Honeycutt. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park. Mr. French was born in Beckley, W.Va. on Aug. 26, 1953, to the late Warren and Betty Sue Fitzpatrick French, Sr. He was a loving husband and Dad. Mr. French was a youth baseball coach for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Robin Furr French; son, Mr. Patrick Shane French of the home; sister, Mrs. Gloria Jean Darnell of Beckley, W.Va., brother, Mr. Warren G. French, Jr. of Rockingham. Wilkinson Funeral Home, Concord NC, is handling the arrangements for the French Family.
