Vonnie Lynn Furr, 47, of 1012 Rockland Circle Concord passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at her home. Born on July 10, 1962 in Cabarrus County. Vonnie was a member of Concord First Assembly, and she was a graduate of Central Cabarrus High School. The family meeting place will be the home. Memorial services will be held at Concord First Assembly The Village Suite 15 on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 3 PM, with the Pastor Tom Whidden officiating. A visitation will follow the service. Survived by: parents, William Franklin, Sr. and Verlee Nance Furr of Concord; son, Joshua Furr of Concord; daughter, Nikki Marie Furr of Loris, SC; brothers, William Franklin Furr, Jr. of Harrisburg, Michael Nance Furr of New London, sister, Connie Elizabeth Furr of Rockwell; grandchildren, Devin Cyrus Carroll, Jazmine Shay Carroll, Logan Ray Goldsmith, Austin Blake Goldsmith, Damien Ronnie Furr; 3 nieces; 5 nephews. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Hospice and Palliative of Cabarrus County for the loving care that Vonnie was given during her illness.
