CONCORD - Sylvia Dawn Furr Webb, 68, of 781 Cloisters Court, Concord, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. Ms. Webb was retired from Belk in Charlotte, where she was a bookkeeper. After retirement, she was a home health provider with Cabarrus County DSS. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur Furr and the late Georgia Rowell Furr. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Overcash and husband, Terry, of Kannapolis; brother, Douglas Furr of Salisbury; sister, Patricia F. "Pat" Watson and husband, Bobby, of Rockwell; grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy Overcash. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, P.O. Box 367, Concord, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2008. Funeral service will be at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Concord, at 11a.m. Monday. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Drive, Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210.
