Death
CONCORD — Peggy Ann Furr Comer, 62, of 320 Rosemont Ave. SE died Sunday, April 3, 1994, at her home. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wilkinson Funeral Home chapel. Service conducted by Dr. Ronny Russell. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Park. A native of Cabarrus County, she was born Dec. 30, 1931 and was married to the late James Roy Comer, who died in 1978. She worked as a personal manager at Kayser Roth’s home office in Greensboro, Hosiery, and later for seven years at Chic Hosiery before retiring from Fun Tees, Inc. in 1993. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold Lucius and Nancy Elizabeth Teeter Furr. Surviving are daughter, Miss Carol Lynne Comer of Raleigh; son, Glenn Harold Comer of the home; brother, Donald Monroe Furr of Charlotte.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, April 4, 1994
