Death
Annie Brown Furr, 81, of 124 Powder St. SW, Concord, died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999, at 4:35 p.m. at her home. Services will be private. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Concord. Visitation will be today from 3-5 p.m. at her home. Born May 13, 1918, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Fred Brown and Alice Workman Brown Grey and was retired from central processing at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Young Memorial Baptist Church. She was married to the late Ollie S. Furr. She is survived by three daughters, Jo-Ann Bentley, Becky McRorie and Barbara Childers, all of Concord; a son, Jerry Furr of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Huey Brown of Brunswick, Ga.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Piedmont Residential Development Center, Michigan St. Home, 1006 Michigan St., Kannapolis, N.C. 28083. Hartsell Funeral.
