Death
Funeral service for Thomas Hart Broadaway, 44, who was dead on arrival at Moses Cone Hospital at 3 p.m. yesterday, will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow in Forbis & Dick Memorial Chapel. Rev. W. S. Caudle Sr., pastor of Rankin Baptist Church, and Rev. Vinson Wall, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Gardens. A native of Anson County, he had lived in Greensboro for 23 years and was an employee of P. Lorillard Co. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are the widow, the former Pauline Smith; three sons, Thomas H. Broadaway Jr. and Bruce Broadaway, both of Greensboro, and Pfc. Roger D. Broadaway with the U. S. Army in Korea; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Isaac of Greensboro and Miss Brenda Broadaway of the home; three brothers, Fred Broadaway of Fort Mill, S. C.; Ralph Broadaway of Albemarle, and Lott Broadaway of Baltimore, Md., and three grandchildren.
