Ellen Amelia Furr Young, 86, of Cordova, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Hospice Haven. Mrs. Young was born May 21, 1935 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late John Wesley and Alberta McMillan Furr. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Warren Young. Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Herbert Wallace Young, Jr; sons, Thomas Dale Young and Eric Dean Young ( Wendy Marie); grandchildren, Eric Tyler Young and Chastity Brooke Young and a sister, Bertie Furr Howard.
