SALISBURY — Mrs. Ruth Taylor Furr Ludwick, 78, of 1230 N, Long St. died Wednesday morning in Rowan Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Summersett Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James P. Harris Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Salisbury National Cemetery. She retired in 1964 after 39 years with Cone Mills and was a member of Stallings Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are widower, Dolpha Dannel Ludwick; sons, Howard Furr and Hoy Furr of Salisbury; daughter, Mrs. R.B. Wolff of Salisbury; stepdaughter, Mrs. Louise Parris of Mocksville; brothers, Sylvester Taylor of Salisbury, Lloyd Taylor of Burlington; sister, Mrs. Ethel Kesler of Salisbury.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, May 20, 1977
