Death
Andy Lane Furr, 63, of Owens Road, died Monday, June 4 at High Point Regional Medical Center after declining health of several years. A graveside service will be held at 2pm Friday, June 8 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. The family wil receive friends from 1-1:45pm Friday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Furr was born November 27, 1954 in Davidson County to Theodore Roosevelt “Ted” Furr and Mary Louise Hardister Furr Wilson. He had worked for PPG as long as his health allowed. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Teddy Jones of Lexington; his uncle, Chick Hardister of Hampton, VA; and numerous cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Lexington Volunteer Fire Department, 2000 Cotton Grove Road, Lexington NC 27292.Endnotes
