Death
KERRVILLE - Billy J. Furr, 70, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at the Kerrville VA Hospital. Billy J. Furr was born Sept. 17, 1929, in Menard, Texas, to William C. Furr and Violet Van Cleeve. He was a carpenter for most of his life. Graveside services will be Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at 2 p.m., at Nichols Cemetery in Kerrville. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Flora of Ingram; five daughters, Brenda Furr, Kathy Ban Zarat, Judy Williamson, Cheryl Lawler, all of Junction, and Karen Jordan of Iowa; two sons, Gerald Allen Furr and Darrell Ray Furr, both of Ingram; one sister, Evelyn and L.V. Schulte of Kerrville; two brothers, Ray Furr of Ingram, and Dale Furr of Austin; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many friends and loved ones.
