Death
Nacola Furr, 58, of Dimmitt passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Dimmitt. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 2:00PM in the Fourth and Bedford Church of Christ with Robert Nelson and Carter Townsend officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Family visitation will be held on Saturday from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at the funeral home. Nacola was born on March 11, 1956 in Plainview, Texas to A.L Conner and Topsy Offield Conner. She grew up in Springlake and Dimmitt. She graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1974. Nacola married John Furr on January 31, 1976 in the Springlake Church of Christ. She worked as a office manager for different feed yards in the area. She was a member of the Fourth and Bedford Church of Christ in Dimmitt. Nacola was very active in the Dimmitt Booster Club and the Castro County 4-H. She enjoyed spending time with family and taking care of her grandchildren. She is survived by her spouse, John Furr of Dimmitt, her mother, Topsy Conner of Springlake, 4 sons, Shaun Eric Furr and wife Calyn of Tobyhanna, PA, Michael Shane Furr and wife Kelly of Springlake, TX, Jeremy Shea Furr and wife Karen of Dimmitt, TX and Brandon Shelby Furr and wife Brandy of Leavenworth, KS, 3 brothers, Ardis Conner, Jody Conner and Gaylon Conner and wife Rhonda all of Springlake, TX. Twelve grandchildren; Quentin and Cheyenne Furr; Jaycee Greene, Nathan and Cathryn Furr; Berkli, Sydney and Rylie Furr; Kaylie, Cooper, Kayden and Jayden Furr. She is preceded in death by her father A.L Conner and a sister-in-law, Terri Conner.Endnotes
