Death

Sandra Kay Hall Walker, 65, passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2011. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Elm Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, 5403 Weyerhaeuser Road, Ayden. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Burial will be private. Sandra was born on August 25, 1946, to the late Coley L. Hall and Helen Louise Furr in Sanford. She is survived by her husband Allen D. Walker; sons, Barry and Penny Frye of Surry, Va. and Stephen and Michelle Berry of Ayden; daughter, Suzanne and Kevin Boughman of Greenville; grandchildren, Megan and husband, Brandon, Tyler, Bryant, Jacob, Dustin, Josh and Jared; sister, Colleen and Robby Campbell of Sanford. Memorials may be made to Lung Cancer Awareness Fund Leo Jenkins Cancer Center Room #178, 600 Moye Blvd., Greenville NC 27834. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Paul Walker.
