Notes
Death
Graveside services for Frances Renfroe Lynch, 84, of Horn Lake and formerly of Rolling Fork, were held October 21 at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Lynch passed away peacefully on October 16, 2021. She was born and raised in Yazoo County. She married in 1955 and moved to Rolling Fork and resided there for more than 50 years. She went back to school and attended Hinds Jr. College where she received her nursing degree. She truly loved nursing. It was more of a hobby than a job. When not working she also enjoyed visiting family and friends. She also served the City of Rolling Fork as an alderman after the death of her husband, Dr. Robert Henry Furr Lynch. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Otho and Lillia Renfroe; her sister, Mary Elizabeth Gilmore; and infant grandson, Richard Allen Caldwell. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Carol Caldwell (Randy) of Jasper, Tn. and Wanda Lynn Anglin (Steve) of Horn Lake; five grandchildren, Joshua Miles Anglin of Atlanta, Ga., Chase Elliot Anglin of Fort Smith, Ak., Andrew Dustin Caldwell of Biloxi, Phillip Scott Caldwell of Purvis, and Lindsey René Tyner (Kyron) of Saucier; one great-granddaughter, Alayna Mae Caldwell; and her sister, Emma Lee Pharr of Gulfport. Pallbearers were Randy Caldwell, Steve Anglin, Joshua Anglin, Chase Anglin, Andrew Caldwell, and Phillip Caldwell. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Presbyterian Christian School in Hattiesburg or Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson.Columbian-Progress, Columbia, Mississippi, October 28, 2021
