MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. - Danny Ray Furr passed away Dec. 31, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center. At his request his body was donated to research and all sevices were private. Danny was born August 30, 1945, in Rock Hill, to James H. Furr Jr. and Pearl H. Furr. He was a graduate of Rock Hill High, Class of 1963. He is survived by his mother, Pearl H. Furr; his brother, James H. Furr III; and his long time companion, Alice Weathers.Published in The Herald from 1/10/2009 - 1/12/2009
