Death

Barbara Joyce (Furr) Moore of McKinney, Texas passed away July 13, 2024 at the age of 83. She was born to James William and Elena Frances (Herron) Furr on September 1, 1940 in McKinney, Texas. Barbara graduated from McKinney High School in 1958. That summer, on July 29, 1958 she married Billy Ray Moore in McKinney. She was a member of Kentucky Town Baptist Church in Whitewright, Texas. Barbara is survived by her son, Kyle Moore and wife, Lisa of Bells, Texas; grandsons, Bryson Moore of Bells, Texas and Dylan Moore and wife, Jasmine of Bells, Texas; great granddaughter, Lakynn Kyle Moore of Bells, Texas; sister, Patricia Crosswhite of McKinney, Texas; and nephew, Caleb Crosswhite of Washington, D.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, James William Furr and Elena Frances Bowden, husband, Billy Ray Moore, son, Kerlyn Ray Moore, brother-in-law, Teddy Crosswhite, and nephew, Chase Crosswhite. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas following the service. The family will receive guests for a visitation from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
