Death
SYLVESTER -- Charles Franklin Furr, 74, died Wednesday at his residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in Hillcrest Cemetery in Sylvester. A native of Georgia, Mr. Furr lived in Sylvester since 1983, moving from Miami. He was a retired mechanic. Survivors include a daughter, Frankie Deon Dent of Lizella; a sister, Mrs. C.C. Ivey of Albany; a Stepsister, Mrs. H.D. Hatcher of Albany; and four grandchildren. Banks Funeral Home in Sylvester has charge of arrangements.The Macon Telegraph, Macon, Georgia, December 9, 1988
