Death
Floyd L. "Bud" Weaver, 71, of Alexander died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004. He was born Jan. 5, 1933, in Plainview, a son of Charlie and Martha Furr Weaver. Weaver was retired as a retired truck driver from Sol Almon Metals and a member of Collegeville Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Betty Weaver; two stepchildren, Sandra Isaacs of Seattle and Charles Stoner of Tucker; two grandsons, Eric Isaacs and Brandon Isaacs, both of Seattle; two godchildren, Tiffany Taylor and Hunter Taylor of Mabelvale; one brother, Leonard Weaver of Plainview; two sisters, Jane Phillips of Hot Springs and Mamie Rowe of Bradley; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2 p..m. Friday at Collegeville Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Southwest.Endnotes
