Death
Rock Hill, March 20. — Irving Furr, age 10, son Of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Furr of the Victoria mill community, and a student at Ebenezer Avenue graded school, died at 10:30 o’clock last night after a lingering illness from kidney disease. The youth was forced to stop school last December owing to ill health. Professor R. C. Burts, superintendent of city schools, declared him to be one of the brightest in his class and a promising student. Funeral services were conducted at 4 o'clock om afternoon at the home by the, Rev. T. A. Snyder, pastor of West End Baptist church. Interment was in Laurelwood cemetery.The State, Columbia, South Carolina, March 21, 1925
