Charlotte had a thirst for knowledge and pursued her education at Irving High School and the University of Texas Arlington, where she obtained her associate's degree. She embarked on a fulfilling career as a Flight Attendant for Braniff Airways before transitioning to become a Payroll Manager for HCA Hospitals. Outside of her professional life, Charlotte had a passion for quilting and found solace in the pages of books by Danielle Steel and Sandra Brown. She possessed a creative spirit and poured her heart into her quilting projects, creating beautiful works of art. Her love for literature inspired her to delve into captivating stories, finding joy in every page she turned. On May 23, 1972, Charlotte married the love of her life, James Fulton Furr, in a union that lasted for over five decades. It is worth noting that they always believed their anniversary was on May 21st and celebrated accordingly. Together, they shared a profound bond built on love, trust, and unwavering commitment. Her husband James Furr preceded Charlotte in death. Charlotte's devotion to her family knew no bounds. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Kena Furr, and her son, Jeffrey Furr. Her grandchildren, Megan Martinez, Tara Furr, and Jacob Furr, held a special place in her heart, and their lives were forever touched by her love and guidance. Charlotte also leaves behind great-granddaughters Emery Furr and Nevaeh Martinez, as well as great-grandson Logan Furr, who brought immense joy to her life. Her brother, Donald Elliott, niece Heather Martinez, and nephew Nicholas Elliott will forever cherish the memories they shared with Charlotte. Known affectionately as "mom" and "nana," Charlotte held a special place in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and their friends. Her warm smile, gentle nature, and loving presence brought comfort and happiness to all who knew her. Charlotte's unconditional love and unwavering support provided a strong foundation for her family, and her memory will forever be etched in their hearts. In addition to her immediate family, Charlotte was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Cook, and her father, Carl Jay Elliott.
