Death
FORT WORTH — Vera Harris Pierce, a retired bootmaker, died Sunday at a Fort Worth hospital. She was 80. Funeral will beat 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Pierce was born in Coppell and was a longtime resident of Fort Worth. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Pierce was employed with Justin Boot Co. and retired in 1977. Survivors: Son, Jimmie Furr of Cleburne; daughter, Barbara Kirk of Fort Worth; sister, Johnnie Cromwell of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Endnotes
