Death
News of the death of Mrs. Deda Girault Furr came as a rude shock to Brookhaven friends on Sunday morning. Mrs. Furr was yet in the bloom of young womanhood; was the fond mother of seven children and the wife of a now deeply bereaved husband. She died from an attack of pneumonia at her home near Wesson last Sabbath morning in the early dawning of the day and is mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends. Mrs. Furr was a sister of Prof. Lackey Girault of this county, to whom sympathy goes out.The Semi-Weekly Leader, Brookhaven, Mississippi, December 8, 1909
