Death
GRENADA — Frances Furr Hicks, 46, of Dothan, Ala., native of Grenada, homemaker, died of heart failure Sunday at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Episcopal Church of the Nativity, where she was a communicant. Byrd Funeral Home of Dothan has charge. She had graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing in Jackson. She was a member of the Medical Auxiliary and Dothan Service League. Mrs. Hicks, the wife of Dr. Charles Roby Hicks Jr., also leaves two daughters, Alison Justine Hicks and Edith Anne Hicks, and a son, Charles Andrew Hicks, all of Dothan; her mother, Frances Justice Furr of Grenada; a sister, Mary Furr Groce of Marietta, Ga., and a brother, John Harold Furr Jr. of Houston.The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tennessee, September 23, 1997
